Honey is an amazing gift of nature, amber-colored product with incredible taste and great benefits. To collect 100 grams of honey, worker bees have to fly around almost a million flowers. Such work requires a serious organization that Mother Nature arranged, starting with the perfect accuracy of hexagonal honeycombs and ending with the complex technology of nectar processing.

Natural bee honey contains many trace elements. Honey contains the most important enzymes: diastase, amylase, catalase, phosphatase. Due to the content of phytoncides, honey has a bactericidal effect. It contains vitamins B1, riboflavin, pyridoxine, pantothenic acid, nicotinic acid, biotin, folic acid, as well as ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

Ukraine is a honey country. Ukraine has developed beekeeping and is among the top five countries in the world with the largest production of honey.

Honey is delivered to the enterprise territory in a special container intended for food products (aluminum cans, plastic containers, metal barrels). The container is marked in a special way, which is a guarantee of returning the container to the beekeeper. The honey of each supplier is received and weighed separately, which allows to monitor the honey indicators of both individual beekeepers and the batch as a whole with great accuracy, to track which honey entered the batch and in what quantity.
After that the quality control of the incoming raw materials takes place, the sampling of honey from each beekeeper by the production laboratory and further research of honey in accordance with physico-chemical and safety indicators according to DSTU4497:2005 (State Standard of Ukraine), as well as European honey quality standards.

If the quality indicators of raw honey comply with European quality standards, it is approved for further processing. In case of inconsistency of quality characteristics, honey is returned to the beekeeper. Our company does not speculate on the price of honey, does not purchase honey with an antibiotic and guarantees the highest quality of the product.

The final product of LLC “MED-OK” is natural homogenized bee honey in the amount of 20.65 tons, packaged in food-grade metal barrels that meet European standards with a volume of 200 liters.
